THE CROSSWORD

     My name is Bryant Cross, and I am a sophomore at Western Michigan University studying English, with minors in history and journalism. I started this website with the simple intention of sharing my work, and honing my writing skills for future careers in English or journalism. But, I have found that this site has become much more than simply a “practice space” for me. I have a passion for Jesus, and have found that writing about the things I have learned over the years not only has the potential to encourage others, but also reminds me of the truths that God has already been teaching me throughout my own life. I hope that my weekly blogs are able to encourage you all, but more importantly point you toward the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

 

     I also believe that it is extremely important to allow yourself to be taught by those who have had life experiences that differ from your own. For this reason, I have begun to create a series of interviews with a variety of individuals, asking them about the lessons they have learned throughout their life and their walk with God. Many of these individuals are elderly, and have lived through some incredible times and experiences. I hope to post the first interview soon, and encourage you to take a moment of your day to learn through another human being’s story. You can find these interviews by clicking the "Writing" tab.
